Dear colleagues and supporters of the European Federation of Audiology Societies (EFAS), dear friends, after a long time without any news from EFAS, please find below the invitation to our EFAS 2021 virtual congress. As you may already know, the Sibenik meeting had to be postponed by two years due to the Covid 19 pandemics and we had to set up an online conference format as a substitute (more information to be found on our website www.efas.ws ) .
Please note that we will have the EFAS general assembly on May 20th as part of the congress: Among other important things, you will have the opportunity to vote for the new EFAS board (2021-2023) – so please attend the meeting and watch for the invitation to the General assembly.
We will also have the honor to celebrate the first EFAS life time award this year (see http://www.efas.ws/conferences/awards.htm for more information):
Awarded to an individual for a sustainable series of research contributions in the field of audiology / hearing science, whose work has had major impacts on the field and / or practice of audiologyand who has significantly advancedEFAS and its goals, eg by advancing audiologywithin the countries represented by EFAS.
